Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Labourer to join our team at 1370575 B.C. LTD. As a Roofing Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of roofing systems, including mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation and repair of roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, and membranes.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth and even surface.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to create a stable and durable surface.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and structures, including removing roofing materials and debris.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including inspecting and repairing roofing systems, and performing minor repairs.
  • Operate power-driven floats, grinding machines, jackhammers, nail guns, drills, trampers, and small front-end loaders to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
