About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Britcan Management Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Construction Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, as well as level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Site Safety and Security: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, with a focus on developing skills in construction labouring and assisting.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
