About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook, Second to join our team at LEI FOODS LTD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a range of dishes, including soups, salads, and main courses, using fresh ingredients and adhering to recipe guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food production.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a culinary arts program or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or food service setting.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
