Batcher-Dispatcher - Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Batcher-Dispatcher to join our team at Béton Provincial. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team, planning daily work schedules, and ensuring the smooth operation of all batching and dispatching activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of batching and dispatching personnel
  • Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, including loading and delivery schedules
  • Receive and dispatch concrete orders to mixer operators
  • Operate batching equipment to mix concrete
  • Ensure high-quality concrete products meet customer specifications
  • Oversee the smooth operation of all batching and dispatching activities
  • Perform quality control tests as needed
  • Operate loaders as required
  • Perform other tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Comfortable with various IT software
  • Experience working in a ready-mix concrete plant (an asset)
  • Leadership, initiative, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bilingual
  • Class 3 driver's license (an asset)
