Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Pastry Culture. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry department and ensuring the highest quality of our baked goods and desserts.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs and cooks to ensure efficient and effective production of high-quality baked goods and desserts.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to stay ahead of industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and visually appealing desserts and pastries.
  • Ensure that all pastry products meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Train and develop staff to improve their skills and knowledge in pastry arts.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a senior pastry role, preferably in a high-volume bakery or restaurant.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry arts, including baking, decorating, and presentation techniques.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
