We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Patient Care: Utilize your nursing expertise to provide comprehensive care to patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage Patient Transfers and Discharges: Ensure timely and safe transfers and discharges of patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure Medication Management: Safeguard the supply, control, and safekeeping of medications and narcotics, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct Resident Orientations: Provide comprehensive orientations to new residents, ensuring they understand the services offered and the home's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Certifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clearances: Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check, and a clear Criminal Record check.
- Medical Clearance: Medical clearance, including but not limited to TB tests.
