- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Wound Care: Provide wound care and dressing changes, promoting healing and preventing infection.
- Mobility and Transfers: Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Meal Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve meals to residents, promoting nutrition and hydration.
- Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and comfortable environment, performing light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Education: Completion of a nursing aide program or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Nursing Aide Certificate.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and physical stamina to perform duties.
