The Laundry Service Specialist plays a crucial role within the Laundry & Valet Team, collectively responsible for the meticulous maintenance of all linens utilized throughout the establishment.
Responsibilities
The Laundry Service Specialist is tasked with operating sorting and drying equipment, ensuring the proper sorting and drying of all laundered linens. Additionally, they are responsible for the folding process, which includes pressing, ironing, and preparing linens for use. Familiarity with the various sizes and classifications of linens is essential, as is the responsibility to report any torn or damaged items to the Housekeeping Manager.
Qualifications
We seek individuals who demonstrate a keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively is essential for this role. Proficiency in using all laundry and pressing equipment to meet Four Seasons standards is required. Candidates must be comfortable operating industrial-sized washing and drying machines and possess the ability to learn their operation. This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Repetitive motions and movements are integral to this role. Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals is also necessary. Strong communication skills are vital as the Laundry Service Specialist collaborates closely with the entire Laundry/Valet team.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
1-2 years of prior experience in Housekeeping/Laundry Valet within a fast-paced hotel environment Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language Proficiency in additional languages is a definite asset for career advancementWhat we offer:

Starting pay rate of $22.60, with a full pay rate of $25.11
Schedule & Hours:
Successful candidates will possess a flexible schedule and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
