Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Technician to join our team at TORONTO SKY AVIATION INC.. This is a permanent role that offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to contribute to our aviation services.

Work Details

Work Environment
  • Maintenance and repair of electric motors

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ascertain work requirements
  • Utilize machining tools for the fabrication or reconditioning of components
  • Replace or refurbish shafts, bearings, commutators, and other parts
  • Weld or braze various components as needed
  • Wind, assemble, and install diverse types of coils
  • Ensure final assembly meets quality control standards
  • Assemble winding into core and establish electrical connections
  • Fit metal and prefabricated parts with precision according to specifications
Qualifications
  • Certification: Motor Winder Trade Certification is required
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in database software and familiar with crimping, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Experience: Background in wiring and working with finished products in electric power generation
