Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Motor Technician to join our team at Toronto Sky Aviation Inc. as a Motor Winder. The successful candidate will be responsible for winding, assembling, and installing various types of coils, as well as performing maintenance and repair tasks on industrial electric motors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on industrial electric motors
  • Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts
  • Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components
  • Weld or braze components
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electromechanical and instrumentation and maintenance technologies/technicians, or equivalent experience
  • Electrical Mechanic Trade Certification and Motor Winder Trade Certification
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and have excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
