Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Vice-President to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for allocating resources, coordinating work, and representing the organization in official functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility, organized, and a team player.
  • Initiative and ability to work under pressure.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
