Role Purpose: This position is responsible for overseeing the collection and organization of assessment data to enhance risk reporting and monitoring practices. The role involves advising, designing, and validating the effectiveness of IT controls and processes, as well as contributing to the development of corrective measures for any identified control weaknesses.
- Collaborates with control owners to create and implement controls aimed at reducing risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to IT, while enhancing overall control frameworks.
- Ensures that stakeholders integrate new or updated controls into their testing processes.
- Works closely with key IT stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business environment, processes, and procedures necessary for designing, building, and maintaining effective control systems across IT functions.
- Evaluates and assesses risk and compliance levels stemming from both external and internal threats across the organization.
- Maintains departmental workflows related to IT controls.
- Engages with business control personnel to provide technical expertise.
- Communicates and collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to address and remediate control findings and gaps.
- Develops and enhances metrics (KRI & KPI) to produce reports and presentations for various management levels.
- Assesses the potential cross-functional impacts or risks of proposed technology solutions and identifies opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Manages stakeholder relationships, identifying and addressing issues and risks as they arise.
- Performs additional duties as required.
- Adheres to all organizational policies and standards.
Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree is required, along with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Alternatively, equivalent experience may be considered based on demonstrated knowledge, responsibilities, and skills relevant to this role.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Proficiency in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
- Experience in Data Analysis and Project Management.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Intermediate level – Actively seeks to expand knowledge in the specialty area.
- Intermediate level – Capable of identifying basic issues and procedural discrepancies, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Intermediate level – Ability to work autonomously.

Certifications:
