Key Responsibilities- Indirect Tax Compliance
- Prepare and submit GST/PST tax returns and remittances
- Compute and remit withholding taxes
- Account Reconciliation
- Reconcile AR clearing accounts and prepare AR invoices
- Process deposits and reconcile vendor rebates
- Intercompany Accounting
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and prepare monthly/quarterly settlements
- Financial Analysis
- Analyze variances and prepare AR and prepaid quarterly comparison reports
- Holdback Reconciliation
- Prepare holdback reconciliations and initiate transfers to/from the holdback bank account
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare consolidated working papers for AR, prepaid, holdback, security deposits, and FX
- Compliance Reporting
- Prepare related party compliance reports and coordinate with legal
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Post-secondary education in accounting/finance or suitable combination of education and experience
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
- Computer literacy in MS Office and JDE or other related accounting software
