Staff Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform month/quarter and year-end activities, including revenue recognition, variance analysis, and cost accruals.
  • Manage vendors for our Canadian and US portfolio.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, including prepaids, general accruals, and payroll accounts.
  • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Filing GST/PST and post sales taxes entry on a monthly basis.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to publicly listed companies and/or US exposure is an asset.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to interpret and analyze data.
