Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant - Corporate to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, as well as providing support to management in financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as prepare and process invoices and payments
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, and provide regular financial updates to management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance, or suitable combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with management and other departments
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, such as JDE
