Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in a SAS Base Teradata development environment.

  3. Collaborate with business data related to SAS Base code for customer management reporting.
  4. Manage SAS processes to prepare data for campaigns.
  5. Participate in a structured development lifecycle, including test data preparation, test case creation, and result validation.
  6. Work within an Agile framework utilizing JIRA Kanban boards.
  7. Comprehend ETL processing and logic using standard and versioned tables.
  8. Understand ETL data change strategies for type 1, type 2, and data synchronization versioning.
Essential Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of SQL experience with advanced skills (including experience with Temporal Tables).
  2. 2+ years of knowledge in Teradata databases.
  3. 8+ years of experience with Base SAS coding.
Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with batch processing of ETL.
  2. Proficient in SAS functionalities such as pass-through SQL, PROC, Data Steps, and SAS Macros.
  3. Familiarity with SAS Enterprise Guide.
  4. Experience with BitBucket and Jenkins.
  5. Knowledge of build and deployment processes.
  6. Experience with job scheduling tools.
  7. Performance tuning for SQL queries.
  8. Familiarity with Postman or similar tools for making RESTful API calls.
  9. Knowledge of SQL Server databases.
  10. Preferred knowledge of IWS Job Scheduling or similar tools.
