Job Summary:

The successful candidate will also be responsible for requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan and develop menus that meet the needs of our guests and are aligned with our culinary vision.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Staff Training: Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
Work Environment:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our guests. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and be physically demanding.
