The Role

This is a critical position at Wing Kei, requiring a skilled professional to oversee the administration and management of assessments for residents in our facilities. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of care protocols and be an expert in MDS activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient assessment processes to ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Lead the integration of MDS assessments with existing clinical tools and streamline processes as needed.
  • Analyze and interpret resident data to inform care plans and improve quality of care.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and submission to regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and safety initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, care teams, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide critical analysis and recommendations to management.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse with a minimum of five years of clinical MDS user experience. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to accurately assess and interpret resident data.

Requirements

  • Annual successful qualification as MDS Assessor-Advanced level.
  • Current CPR (BCLS) Certificate.
  • Computer literacy, experienced in all functions of RAI-MDS 2.0.
