Lead Nurse Practitioner

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead, Nurse Practitioners to provide expert leadership, consultation, and advice to programs and departments across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a quality practice environment and excellence in clinical practice for Nurse Practitioners, including electronic health care record initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide practice leadership to Nurse Practitioners across Vancouver Coastal Health, acknowledging their autonomy and collaborative medical practice.
- Foster the integration of NP practice and understanding of practice scope, creating a supportive professional practice structure.
- Perform Clinical Nurse Practitioner related duties as assigned and have key accountabilities for quality assurance and patient safety.
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner, including progressive clinical practice, education, research, project management, or leadership experience.
