About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Fabrication Supervisor to join our team at Accurate Fabricating Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process and ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Production: Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring that all products are manufactured to specifications and meet quality and safety standards.
  • Lead a Team of Skilled Workers: Supervise and mentor a team of skilled workers, including apprentices, labourers, machine operators, and welders.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are Followed: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the inventory and supply chain, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are available to support production.
  • Monitor and Report on Production Metrics: Track and report on production metrics, including productivity, quality, and safety performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a fabrication shop or similar environment.
  • Industry Experience: Metal products manufacturing experience is required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet deadlines.
