At Dual Fabrication & Welding Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting our welders in the fabrication of metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal surfaces.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Sort and organize metal sheets, parts, and scrap metal for efficient production.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to facilitate the transportation of materials.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience in metal fabrication and welding is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
