Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

Orchid Nail & Spa is seeking a skilled Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and Coordinate: Schedule events, programs, and activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked salon.
  • Problem-Solving and Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high level of service.
Supervision and Support:
  • Team Size: Supervise a team of 3-4 people.
  • Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Newcomer and Refugee Support: Participate in government or community programs to support newcomers and refugees, assisting with settlement needs and social integration.
  • Youth Support: Participate in government or community programs to support youth employment, offering on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Veteran Support: Participate in government or community programs to support Veterans, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Indigenous Support: Participate in government or community programs to support Indigenous people, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Mature Worker Support: Participate in government or community programs to support mature workers, offering phased retirement options and workspace accommodations.
  • Visible Minority Support: Participate in government or community programs to support members of visible minorities, offering mentorship programs and diversity training.
