About the Role

The University of Ottawa is seeking a dynamic and experienced instructor to lead our ADM3316A course, focusing on Competitive Intelligence.

In this role, you will guide students through the core principles of competitive intelligence, market analysis, foresight, and analytics. You'll equip them with the skills to effectively gather, interpret, and utilize commercial information for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate interactive discussions on competitive intelligence concepts and applications.
  • Develop and assess course materials, assignments, and exams that align with learning objectives.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their work and progress throughout the semester.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with coursework or certifications in competitive intelligence, decision-making, and non-verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in intelligence gathering at either the government or industry level.

Additional Information

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
