Position: Lead Salesforce Solutions Engineer

The Lead Salesforce Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role in the design and development of Salesforce applications, addressing complex business and technological challenges across various sectors. This position involves overseeing daily operations of Salesforce applications, providing strategic insights, troubleshooting production issues, and championing efficiency and continuous improvement as we evolve our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and estimate the effort required for new project scopes and requirements.
  • Lead the design and development of Salesforce solutions across multiple intricate projects, ensuring the stability and operational integrity of the application ecosystem.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, advocating for the adoption of innovative tools and processes.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert, managing administrative functions for the Salesforce platform.
  • Assist business teams in effectively utilizing Salesforce by prioritizing configuration over customization.
  • Analyze failures, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions; utilize internal defect tracking systems to generate comprehensive error reports.
  • Collaborate with product owners and testing teams to enhance QA processes, review testing strategies, and improve test automation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with the Salesforce platform and over 10 years in enterprise systems.
  • Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce Lightning Components, and Integration Patterns.
  • Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with other cloud-based applications using REST, SOAP API, Talend, Informatica, and Mulesoft.
  • Knowledge of deployment methodologies and release pipelines, such as Jenkins and Bitbucket/Git.
  • Understanding of packaged deployments, Metadata API, and Ant.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Salesforce Lightning Components and Aura Framework.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 Salesforce certifications from recognized programs is mandatory (certifications will be verified).
  • Experience with Financial Services Cloud is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DX is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban.
