Nurun is seeking a talented Lead Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in designing innovative solutions that address complex challenges for our clients and their users.

Reporting directly to the Director of Technology, this hybrid position demands a unique blend of interpersonal and technical skills to oversee the development of multiple web interfaces concurrently while maintaining high quality standards. Your primary objective will be to lead the frontend team, streamline processes, and manage priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a collaborative work environment emphasizing open communication;
  • Supervise team activities and guide developers towards success;
  • Serve as a technical expert for the frontend team, providing guidance and mentorship;
  • Identify and address potential risks through robust solutions and strategies;
  • Contribute to the company's technological vision and service offerings by participating in brainstorming sessions and proposing innovative ideas;
  • Develop proofs of concept to validate new concepts and technologies;
  • Evaluate and define project requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives;
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to developers, fostering their growth and development;
  • Analyze and implement new technologies to enhance the team's capabilities and stay at the forefront of industry trends.
Requirements
  • University degree in computer science or a related field;
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in frontend web development, demonstrating a strong understanding of best practices and industry standards;
  • 2+ years in a leadership position or proven ability to effectively lead and motivate teams;
  • Proficiency in JavaScript with Angular and/or Vue.js;
  • Knowledge of Node.js and its applications in frontend development;
  • Experience with HTML & SCSS, ensuring clean and maintainable code;
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, JSON, Nexus, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD processes, demonstrating a commitment to efficient development workflows;
  • Understanding of MySQL and MongoDB databases, enabling effective data management and integration;
  • Ability to contribute across all project phases, from initial conception to deployment and maintenance;
  • Strong leadership skills and exceptional communication abilities, fostering collaboration and clear understanding within the team;
  • Fluency in French and English.
