Job Description

Nurun Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead, Frontend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our frontend development team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of meaningful and intuitive solutions that solve complex problems for our clients and their customers.

This is a hybrid role that requires both human and technical skills to ensure the simultaneous development of multiple web interfaces and ensure their quality. The mission of this role is to oversee the practice and growth of the frontend team, in addition to ensuring the fluidity of processes and the management of priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Create an inspiring collaborative environment with a culture of open communication, supervise activities, and be a technical reference for the frontend development team.
  • Technical Expertise: Mitigate risks and implement robust solutions while considering various constraints, contribute to the technological vision and service offer of the company, and produce proofs of concept to validate hypotheses.
  • Project Management: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas on technologies and tools, participate in the evaluation and definition of projects, and provide technical support to developers and act as a mentor.
  • Professional Development: Participate in the planning and analysis of new technologies to implement and contribute to the growth and development of the frontend team.
Requirements
  • University degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Significant experience of 10 years or more in Web development with Front-end specialization.
  • 2+ years in a management role or strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of HTML & SCSS.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Git, JSON, Nexus, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge of MySQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of MongoDB and non-relational database.
  • Ability to intervene in all phases of the project; from specifications to testing.
  • Sense of leadership and ease in communicating concepts and vision.
  • Bilingual, French and English.
