Café Operations Manager

The Hot and Cold Cafe is seeking a dedicated Café Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure exceptional service. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a dynamic team while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Analyze financial data to enhance profitability and sustain the café's success.
- Team Leadership: Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Operational Planning: Organize and execute daily activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Staff Recruitment: Attract and hire talented individuals to join our team.
- Scheduling: Create and manage staff work schedules to optimize productivity.
- Training: Conduct training sessions to equip staff with necessary skills and knowledge.
- Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate cash handling and prepare financial reports.
- Inventory Management: Organize and oversee inventory to ensure adequate supply levels.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the café.
- Supplier Negotiation: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers for food and beverage procurement.
- Client Relations: Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance satisfaction.
- Marketing Participation: Contribute to marketing strategies and initiatives.
Manage a team of approximately 11-15 staff members.
Work EnvironmentThis position is set in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role.
- Client-focused with a strong sense of dependability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Highly organized and capable of multitasking.
- A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
