Position: Side Dump Truck Operator

Key Details:

  • At least 1 year of experience operating side dump trucks.
  • Accountable for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, vehicle assessments, and mechanical evaluations.
  • Full-time position available year-round, typically scheduled Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure optimal vehicle functionality and load management.
  • Safely manage the loading and unloading of materials.
  • Operate quad trailers efficiently.
  • Complete essential paperwork such as Waybills.
  • Transport materials to and from designated locations.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with side dump trucks.
  • Clean commercial driving record in Alberta for the past 5 years.
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license in Alberta.
  • Expertise in Tandem Quad operations.
  • Access to personal transportation and ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
  • Proficiency in English.

Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
