Position: Side Dump Truck Operator

Essential Information:

  • At least 1 year of experience with side dump trucks.
  • Accountable for conducting pre and post-trip inspections, monitoring vehicle performance, and performing mechanical evaluations.
  • Full-time position available year-round, typically scheduled Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure optimal vehicle operation and load management.
  • Safely manage the loading and unloading of materials.
  • Operate quad trailers effectively.
  • Complete necessary paperwork such as Waybills.
  • Transport materials to and from designated locations.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating side dump trucks.
  • Clean commercial driving record in Alberta for the past 5 years.
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license in Alberta.
  • Proficient in operating Tandem Quad vehicles.
  • Access to personal transportation and ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
