About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Sunlight Excavating Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport materials to and from our excavation sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using GPS equipment and other navigation devices.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver logbook and trip reports
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
  • Hardworking and patient individual
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The language of work is English.
