Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Communications department, you will be responsible for developing and executing our PR strategy, building and maintaining relationships with media professionals, and leading crisis communications management. Key Responsibilities
  • PR Strategy
    • Develop and contribute to our communications strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and values.
    • Develop and execute our PR strategy, communicating with relevant stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure employees are informed and engaged in PR initiatives.
    • Establish and maintain standards, guidelines, and procedures for corporate and branch public relations.
  • Media & Public Communications
    • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets to facilitate timely and effective public communications.
    • Manage external public relations through press releases, corporate annual reports, and earned and paid media articles.
    • Pitch news story ideas, coordinate interviews, and manage media inquiries to secure positive news and media coverage.
    • Manage media and press releases on behalf of Beem, promoting positive reception and consistent brand recognition.
    • Lead crisis communication planning, ensuring readiness of key spokespeople.
    • Convey our brand and values through member and employee storytelling.
  • PR Analytics
    • Conduct research, insights, customer data, and analytics to measure PR and social media effectiveness, inform decisions, and make recommendations.
  • Collaboration
    • Partner with the Communications team to execute public relations strategy and maintain a flow of planned and reactive communications.
    • Partner with Beem's departments and branches as necessary in planning and executing PR-relevant projects and campaigns.
Requirements
  • Degree in business, communications, or marketing.
  • Minimum years' experience in public relations and/or corporate communications.
  • Experience building and maintaining proactive PR strategy.
  • Experience in a fast-changing organization; experience with PR surrounding M&A initiatives is a strong asset.
