Sunbelt Rentals, a leader in the rental industry across North America, is on the lookout for a Fuel Transport Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering diesel or propane to various customer sites using either a single axle or tandem axle truck during the seasonal period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe dispensing of diesel and/or propane at customer locations
  • Operate bulk fuel delivery vehicles to multiple sites daily, preferably with a Class 3 license
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and conduct on-site hazard assessments
  • Demonstrate the ability to drive in all weather conditions

Qualifications for Success:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Valid Class 3 Driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience or certification in transporting hazardous materials, particularly diesel and propane, is advantageous

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous experience in driving and handling equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude to address on-site issues
  • A customer service-oriented mindset
  • Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping

The physical demands of this position include bending, squatting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in various environments as required. This description is not exhaustive and may include additional tasks as necessary. Reasonable accommodations will be made in accordance with applicable laws.
