Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization

Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Travel Arrangements

Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.

Vehicle Maintenance

Oversee the condition of vehicles, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

Preventive Maintenance

Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and running efficiently.

Communication

Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Cargo Security

Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

No degree, certificate, or diploma required. 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

Language

English language proficiency required.

Work Environment

Dusty work environment with potential for remote locations and varied work settings.

Physical Demands

Physically demanding work requiring attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and sitting for extended periods.

Weight Handling

Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy loads.

Tools and Equipment
