We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our team at SUNLIFE ELECTRICAL LTD. As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors
- Collect, record and summarize inspection results
- Compress steel laminations to build transformer cores
- Assemble winding into core and make electrical connections
- Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
- Assemble and fit electrical motor or transformer auxiliary equipment
- Fit electrical control devices into switchboards and panelboards
- Assemble panelboard and switchboard cabinets and install bus bars
- Monitor production and troubleshoot production problems
- Check final assembly for adherence to quality control standards
- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
- Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, willing to relocate
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
