The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering foundation level courses that fall primarily into General Education's Cluster-Four, "Communications". We are seeking a qualified candidate with a well-developed understanding of liberal education and the ability to identify and address key debates under the Cluster's thematic orientation.

About the Role

The Department of General Education delivers the General Education program within all of Mount Royal's baccalaureate degrees. The General Education program is organized around four thematic clusters. The aims of those courses taught in the Communications cluster are to:

  • Focus on the development of an undergraduate level of proficiency in written and oral communication across a range of media.
  • Facilitate the development of a capacity for critical reflection upon various communication media and their uses.
