Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at JMP Solutions - Canada. As a key member of our Systems Design Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced automation solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine basic approaches to automation, working through roadblocks and detailing out technical plans of action.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage design and operational execution risk.
  • Participate in risk assessment and risk mitigation plans to ensure project success.
  • Approve, create, review, and support technical requirements and functional requirements documentation.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Systems Design, Engineering Physics, Engineering Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Significant experience with motion controls, robots, vision systems, and project engineering.
  • Strong technical leadership abilities and ability to collaborate and foster a leadership role.
  • Excellent writing skills for preparing technical requirements and functional requirements documentation.
