Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at Walmart Canada. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and effective work environment for all customers, associates, visitors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure Store Security: Conduct daily patrols of the facility to validate doors and showcases are secure and functioning properly.
  2. Investigate Shrink and Loss: Investigate instances of financial and physical shrink and communicate findings to Store Leadership and Market Loss Prevention Manager.
  3. Support Store Evacuation Procedures: Participate in store evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergency.
  4. Conduct Investigations: Conduct investigations as assigned, including instances of internal theft and/or dishonesty, matters relating to external organized retail crime, and cases assigned through Walmart Canada Global Ethics.
  5. Communicate Effectively: Communicate information from different sources and effectively clarify issues for others, often presenting different perspectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Security Guard License and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
