
Data Entry and Bookkeeping Specialist

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a skilled Data Entry and Bookkeeping Specialist who is also comfortable with office administration and customer service. This position is located at a marina office in Keswick, Ontario, where you will play a key role in managing the bookkeeping for three distinct businesses: a construction company, a real estate company, and the marina itself. You’ll be responsible for handling customer inquiries in person (though foot traffic is limited) while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the companies’ financial data.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties for:
- **Construction Company**: Manage accounts using **QuickBooks Online (QBO).**:
- **Real Estate Company**: Use **DoorLoop **to maintain property management accounting.
- **Marina**: Oversee bookkeeping and financial records for marina operations.
- Enter and reconcile financial data accurately in a timely manner.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Provide light customer service and support to the limited number of visitors to the marina office.
- Manage general office administration duties, including answering phone calls, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience with **QuickBooks Online (QBO)** and/or **DoorLoop **is highly desirable.
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience, especially in **construction **and/or **real estate**, is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a quiet office environment with mínimal supervision.
- **Customer service** experience, even if mínimal, is a plus.
