Position Overview

The Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest accommodations at the Best Western Thompson Hotel & Suites. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided.
Work Environment
  • Staff accommodation is available.
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
  • Willingness to relocate is essential.
  • Work setting includes hotels, motels, and resorts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning of floors including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Dust and maintain furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered items.
  • Make beds and change linens to ensure guest comfort.
  • Distribute fresh towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
  • Organize and stock the linen closet efficiently.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Manage lost and found items appropriately.
  • Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or information.
  • Ensure cleanliness by picking up debris and emptying trash containers.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as required.
