Job Summary

As a Sales Representative for W. R. Meadows, Inc., you will be responsible for promoting and selling our complete line of products to distributors, designers, architects, and contractors. You will act as a company representative for all members of project building teams and serve as a liaison between the company and customers on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a strong distributor, architect, and contractor base for each product grouping in every market within your assigned territory.
  • Promote and sell the complete line of products available from W. R. Meadows.
  • Follow up on quotations submitted to customers through phone or visit.
  • Build professional relationships with key customer personnel, including purchasing, engineering, architects, contractors, salesmen, management, and other key personnel.
  • Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problem-solving.
  • Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory following the corporate program.
  • Provide feedback to your manager on competitive products available in the market place.
  • Provide a territory sales forecast to your manager on a monthly basis.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Emulate the high WRM standards for Quality, Integrity, and Service.
  • Become a member of trade organizations such as CSC, OBEC, B&CRAO, attending meetings on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with problem-solving skills.
  • General construction knowledge.
  • Good mathematical, computer, and technical skills.
  • Self-motivated.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum 2 years previous sales experience in a related industry.

Industry certificates such as CTR, BSS, ICRI accreditation desired but not required.
