Become a Key Member of Our Student Support Team

We are looking for a dedicated Student Support Specialist to enhance student development and achievement through a variety of psychological and educational resources. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding students towards academic success, personal advancement, and career preparedness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute tailored intervention strategies to promote student wellness.
  • Facilitate counselling sessions grounded in established psychological theories.
  • Evaluate mental health conditions and risk indicators, collaborating with other specialists for appropriate referrals.
  • Support students in overcoming emotional and social obstacles that impact their educational journey.
  • Provide diverse counselling services, including individual, group, and crisis support.
  • Assess and manage potential risks associated with students, delivering essential assistance.
  • Participate in conflict resolution and ethical decision-making frameworks.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and group counselling initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive client documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of pertinent experience.

Additional Role Expectations:

This position entails a 35-hour work week, including one evening shift and 5 direct clinical hours each day to effectively support our student population.
