Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Farm Labourer to join our team at P&S VanBerlo Limited. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining and harvesting crops, operating farm machinery, and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and prevent pests and diseases.
  • Harvest crops at the right time to ensure maximum quality and quantity.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
Work Environment

As a Farm Labourer, you will work outdoors in a rural area, often in fast-paced and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and use hand-eye coordination to perform tasks.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding work, requiring standing for extended periods and using hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and attention to detail.
  • Own transportation is required.
Working Conditions

The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The working hours are 40 to 50 hours per week.
