About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Farm Labourer to join our team at P&S VanBerlo Limited. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to crop cultivation, including planting, fertilizing, and harvesting crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, Cultivate and Irrigate Crops: Plant seeds, tend to crops, and ensure they receive adequate water and nutrients.
  • Fertilize and Spray Crops: Apply fertilizers and pesticides to crops to promote healthy growth and prevent pests and diseases.
  • Harvest Crops: Pick and collect crops at the right time to ensure optimal quality and quantity.
  • Operate and Maintain Farm Machinery and Equipment: Use tractors, plows, and other equipment to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops.
  • Examine Product for Quality and Readiness for Market: Inspect crops for quality and readiness for market to ensure they meet our high standards.
Work Environment

As a Farm Labourer, you will work outdoors in a rural area, often in fast-paced and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and use your hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to perform tasks accurately.
