About the Role

We are seeking experienced mental health professionals to provide supportive care for individuals who experience severe challenges in daily living as a result of their mental illness and/or substance use disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, observe, monitor, and report on clients' progress and level of acceptance to services and support.
  • Assist clients with activities associated with daily living, including time management, money management, organization, and interpersonal communication.
  • Provide structured support to help develop and maintain life skills related to personal care, household management, menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and community access.
  • Monitor clients in accordance with established treatment objectives and/or care plans, observing client behaviors and symptoms, documenting observations in accordance with standard procedures, and providing verbal reports on changes in client appearance, behavior, and/or health.
  • Liaise, monitor, and coordinate services with mental health and substance use staff, medical professionals, and other relevant service providers.
Work Environment

This is a casual opportunity with Interior Health Authority, working as a member of an integrated team to provide structured support services to clients. Shift types include days, evenings, and nights, with shift times ranging from 07:00 to 18:00, 09:00 to 19:10, and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
