Food Services Manager

Breezy Beans Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Food Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services department.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Analyze financial data to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize efficiency.
- Staff Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve productivity.
- Operational Planning: Plan and organize daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of food service activities.
- Staff Recruitment and Scheduling: Recruit and hire staff, as well as set schedules to meet business needs.
- Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Service Offerings and Operational Procedures: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Financial Management: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and prepare cash reports and related forms.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Cost Control: Cost products and services, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and customers.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality products.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
The Food Services Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food services management.
- Language: English.
