About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Amica Senior Lifestyles. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and supporting our team in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet residents' unique needs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments

Requirements
  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset
