About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Communications and Branding to join our team at Softchoice. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans that drive business results and enhance our reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies that align with our business objectives and values.
  • Lead a team of communications professionals to deliver high-quality content and campaigns that engage our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, business partners, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide strategic counsel to our CEO and leadership team on communications and reputation management.
  • Manage and execute crisis communications and issues management to protect our reputation and brand.
  • Develop and maintain our brand strategy, including our visual identity, messaging, and tone of voice.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of our employee communications and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all channels.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in communications and brand management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, business partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of brand management, reputation management, and crisis communications.
  • Experience with employee communications and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
