EBC Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the construction of major infrastructure projects, including bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, and marine installations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for dam and hydroelectric projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports, for electrical distribution, protection, and control systems.
- Ensure design compliance with industry guidelines, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan, coordinate, and control projects.
- Work closely with technical teams to coordinate engineering work and ensure quality assurance.
- Evaluate electrical systems, products, and components, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered member of EGBC required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Experience in hydroelectricity and dams is considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and specialized software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Results-driven and quality-oriented.
