About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at GGS Trucking Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with GGS Trucking Limited, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
