SharePoint Solutions Analyst

CB Canada is seeking a SharePoint Business Support Analyst to oversee and enhance the SharePoint Online ecosystem.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will manage the SharePoint Online environment, driving the development and execution of SharePoint strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SharePoint Online initiatives and solutions.
- Expertly configure form libraries, lists, workflows, team sites, content management systems, user permissions, enterprise search, security, and reporting services.
- Implement Microsoft SharePoint Online out-of-the-box solutions.
- Provide comprehensive support and guidance on SharePoint and related content management systems.
- Facilitate formal discussions with key stakeholders to interpret requirements and identify how technology can enhance daily business operations.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of SharePoint features to propose solutions that align with business objectives.
- Enhance operational efficiencies and automate processes by developing Microsoft SharePoint workflow solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Research and recommend solutions that leverage current SharePoint Online capabilities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation detailing business functions, processes, and system requirements.
- Offer technical support for all aspects of SharePoint Online, addressing daily issues and requests.
- Contribute to the governance, vision, strategy, policies, and best practices for Microsoft SharePoint.
- Design and deliver training for site owners and users, including how-to documentation and group training sessions.
- Conduct quality assurance checks, resolve data and security issues, and manage change requests efficiently.
- Develop automated business process solutions using web forms, metrics, workflows, and dashboards.
- Collaborate on multiple projects concurrently.
- Engage with management, team members, and business partners to cultivate trustworthy, long-term relationships.
Essential Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant role.
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office 365, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience in SharePoint security administration and site management principles.
- In-depth knowledge of sites, permissions, content types, pages, lists, libraries, web parts, and SharePoint Online best practices.
- Ability to research and adapt to emerging information technologies.
- Skilled in presenting information to teams and facilitating end-user training.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in technical and non-technical contexts.
- Strong technical aptitude, initiative, creativity, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
- Experience with Information Management and Enterprise Content Management systems.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and capacity to address complex issues.
- Solid understanding of requirements gathering and analysis techniques.
